The standardization of language examinations for the academic community of UNIDA Gontor has been established based on the Rector's Decree with Number 2410/UNIDA/R-e/V/1442. 

Each language skill (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) will be assessed separately. This Alikhtibar program utilizes language test success indicators formulated by the Language Development Directorate team of Darussalam Gontor University.

In order to measure the level of student graduation during language tests, an assessment method or scoring system based on test scores needs to be formulated. The standardization of language test result measurement is as follows:

  1. Capable of writing short sentences in both Arabic and English according to proper rules and conventions.
  2. Capable of comprehending and using vocabulary in simple conversations.
  3. Capable of introducing oneself, asking questions, and responding to inquiries about personal life.
  4. Capable of writing simple sentences in both Arabic and English accurately.
  5. Have participated in a pre-test and passed the post-test for the preparatory class.

A1

(Elementary)

  1. Able to understand and use basic vocabulary and expressions about daily routines.
  2. Able to express orally using proper sentences, although still simple.
  3. Capable of introducing oneself, asking questions, and answering inquiries about personal life.
  4. Capable of interacting with others such as asking for help, offering assistance, and expressing gratitude.
  5. Capable of understanding how to provide personal information to others.
  6. Able to comprehend everyday expressions and their usage.
  7. Capable of writing simple paragraphs of 300 words following proper Arabic and English writing conventions.

A2

(Pre-Intermediate)

  1. Capable of understanding common expressions and phrases related to personal information, family, shopping activities, hobbies, and occupation.
  2. Able to communicate simply about frequently occurring issues in life.
  3. Able to describe simple terms based on one's background and related problems.
  4. Capable of describing desired aspirations for the future.

(Intermediate)

  1. Capable of comprehending the main topic of a discourse within a specific context.
  2. Able to actively interact during discussions with three participants on a specific topic.
  3. Capable of making decisions in particular situations using either Arabic or English language.
  4. Able to describe matters related to interests, experiences, events, hobbies, dreams, hopes, and ambitions, and able to express reasons and explanations for a particular opinion.
  5. Capable of expressing key information about a situation, such as a job.
  6. Able to describe experiences, dreams, hopes, and ambitions.
  7. Capable of providing reasons and explaining opinions and plans.
